The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies for the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering expert services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency stated it really is alarmed about the higher range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your higher range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's SRD no completely functional office devoted to service the area every day. The assistance issue made for intervention experiences a high influx of likely beneficiaries, which makes it tough for that Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more means to enable the servicing of all consumers and raise usage of Social Assistance providers,” read more the agency said.
